Emma is about 18 or 19 years of age, and has long glossy honey colored hair and hazel eyes. She wears pink rimmed glasses, and, occassionally, colored contacts. Emma usualy wears minimal or no makeup.

Emma Anderson and her sister, Riley Lynn, are the daughters of actress K. Ann Anderson. After moving to San Fransokyo, Emma must help Riley adapt to her new life. When Emma applies for university at SFIT. she becomes popular in an instant. All the boys have crushes on her, in particular, Tadashi Hamada,and all the girls want to be her friend, consulting her on hairstyles, clothes and make-up. Emma was feling particularily great when Tadashi asked her to be his girlfriend, but requested a limited amount of friends. Her closest friends were Allison Tomago, who she met over Sype before moving, Allisdon's older sister Kymberly, a fashion enthusiast and Josee Thomas, a skater & dancer. The following week, at her cheer competition, she proposes to Tadashi, who accepts. They get married two days later, then help their respective siblings (Hiro & Riley), prepare for the showcase & senior prom, in which Tadashi & Emma are graduating. Both of their siblings are accepted in, and their prom went well. Cass Hamada buys free ice capps for the graduates, which Emma samples, enthusiastically, when SFIT bursts into flames. Horrified, Emma runs inside to get all of Riley's stuff, and runs out the back, where Tadashi was waiting for her. He embraces her for a full 5 minutes, then leaves her forever. The next morning, Emma is so depressed, that she stays in her room all day. In her biggest moment of sadness, she puts her phone on shuffle mode, which plays "See You Again" as she slowly looks at all her pictures of them together.
